Copyright & Takedown Policy
We respect creators. If your work has been listed on LayerMarket without your permission, here's how to get it removed.
Our position
Sellers may only upload STL files and product designs they have the right to sell. Listings that infringe someone else's copyright will be removed, and repeat offenders will have their accounts terminated.
How to report a listing
Email copyright@layermarket.example with the following:
- A link to the listing(s) you believe infringe your work
- A description of the original work and proof you own or represent it
- Your full name and contact details
- A statement that you believe in good faith the listing is unauthorised
What happens next
- We review takedown requests within 3 working days.
- Listings we determine to be infringing are removed immediately.
- The seller is notified and may submit a counter-notice.
- Repeat infringers have their accounts permanently closed.
Counter-notices
If you're a seller whose listing was removed and you believe this was a mistake, reply to the takedown notification with your evidence (proof of authorship, licence, etc.) and we'll review.
