The plain-English terms for using LayerMarket. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these.
What LayerMarket is
LayerMarket is a marketplace that connects independent 3D printing sellers with buyers. We host listings, process orders, and take a 15% commission on each successful sale. We do not produce, ship, or design the items ourselves.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You're responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- One account per person.
Buying on LayerMarket
- Physical items are made and shipped by independent sellers, not by us.
- Digital items are downloadable files. Check the licence on each listing to see how you can use them.
- Prices, delivery fees, and totals are shown clearly before you pay.
Selling on LayerMarket
- You may only list items you have the right to sell.
- You're responsible for shipping physical orders within the dispatch time you've stated.
- You agree to our 15% platform commission, deducted automatically from each order.

Prohibited content
You may not list items that are illegal, infringe someone else's copyright, are unsafe, or violate our policies. We may remove listings and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Liability
LayerMarket provides the platform "as is". We're not liable for the quality of items shipped by sellers, but we'll always help mediate disputes in good faith.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify users of material changes by email.
